What’s it
about?
Etzacorp’s new Free web site promotion is aimed at small businesses
in need of a first web site. The principle is simple: You get a free
web site if you host your site through Etzacorp.
This is too good to be true. Where’s the catch?
The catch is that you need to host your site through Etzacorp
AND pay the first year in advance (R1 320). When
purchasing your first web site, there are usually three costs
involved:
1.
The cost of the design of the web site. This is by far the most
expensive part and can cost several thousands of rand. This is the
part you will be getting for free.
2.
The registration of a domain name. You need to register a web
address (for example, www.etzacorp.co.za). Etzacorp charges an
annual fee of R150.
3.
A monthly hosting cost to keep the site on the Internet. For this, Etzacorp charges R110.
Please note that all of these costs are charged by most web
designers, in addition to the costs charged for the physical design
of the site, the part you’re getting for free.
Will I get
a sub-standard web site?
No, not at all. You will still receive the same service and good
quality web site. Each site is customized to suit your business’

What do I
pay?
For the first year: R1 320 (Domain registration: R150, Monthly
hosting: 12 x R110) .
From the second year:
1.
An annual amount of R150
2. A monthly amount of R110
If
you do not have pictures to be used:
3. If you do not have pictures to be used on your web site,
additional pictures can be purchased for R25 each.
What do I
get?
1.
A free four page web site
2. One update per month (conditions apply)
3. Etzacorp’s excellent service
And the
fine print?
1. Monthly updates do not include drastic changes to the structure
of the site or pages, or adding additional pages. An additional fee
may be charged for these services.
2. The first year's R1
320 is not refundable should you wish to cancel services with
Etzacorp.
